I have gone to the center for two separate rounds of support. The first was for parenting resources, and the second for pregnancy support. In both scenarios, I have learned so much from the classes and the conversations we have about the information we cover. Even the online classes are good, and I don’t have to miss work. The in-depth Newborn, Breastfeeding, and Labor & Delivery group classes were fun; I was so grateful I attended because there was so much, I did not know that I am now prepared for.

I first went to Heart of the Hills Pregnancy Resources when my family learned I was four months pregnant. I was seventeen and finishing my senior year of high school. Every week I attended classes and other groups; they always encouraged me and made me feel accepted and welcome.

When I thought I was pregnant, I went to Heart of the Hills to confirm my Pregnancy with a pregnancy test and sonogram. The woman I worked with was kind and made me feel at home. She helped me sigh up for pregnancy Medicaid and other benefits that have helped me get on my feet.
I went to Heart of the Hills to receive help and direction with my pregnancy. I had my first sonogram at the center when I was 12 weeks pregnant. It was the most amazing experience seeing my baby girl that first time and hearing her heartbeat! I never got to have that with my first baby….
